Q: Why use a smaller url?
A: It won't break when a person clicks on the link in your email advertisements, causing them to copy and paste the url to the browser window.

Q: Why do I need a tracking system for my url's?
A: As any professional Marketer will tell you, You need to know where your hits are coming from. This way you are not paying for advertising programs that are not generating sales, you will know if you are getting hits for that certain url. Since you are allowed unlimited urls to shorten you can add a new one for every marketing program you are using, or for every different ad you are sending out to see which one people are hitting on.
